Uses: Because cesium formate has high solubility in water, large solution density, solution viscosity is much smaller than other solutions of the same density, low solid phase content, safer transportation and low toxicity, it is used as completion fluid and drilling fluid. The use of cesium formate as a completion fluid and drilling fluid is more conducive to reducing environmental pollution, provides good temperature and pressure characteristics, has natural lubricity, and is beneficial for increasing drilling speed and reinforcing shale.
